Position Specifications

• Corporate title : Sr. Python Developer
• Experience : 4 to 7 years

Role & Responsibilities and requirements

• Participating in the technical design and creation of scalable software.
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
• Individual contributor for writing python rest api/web application.
• Strong unit test and debugging skills.
• Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architecture.
• Demonstrates familiarity and strong working knowledge of the python programming languages and tools for the application area.
• Maintaining strong working knowledge of data science and analytics field.
• Experience in a software development position including all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); including requirements definition, technical designs, coding, testing and implementation and integration.
• Selects appropriate work procedures or approaches to address technical challenges, consistent with appropriate standards and policies.

Mind-set / Skill set / Qualifications

• The candidate should have knowledge of algorithms, data structures, API usage, and creating long-lasting reusable code.
• Capability to develop RESTful APIs and Web Applications in Python.
• Capability in Django/Flask framework.
• Good understanding of various data file format like xml, json, csv etc..
• Ability to build high-performance APIs.
• Strong python development background is must. Skill in general purpose programming languages such as Java, Dot Net, JavaScript, C/C++ or similar is preferred.
• Full grasp of Data Structures/ Algorithms.
• Ability and interest to learn other coding languages as needed.
• Experience working with teams across different time-zones and countries.
• Experience in Core Python and various libraries.

Location

Gurugram, Haryana (work from home until the situation resolves).
